Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using Splittd (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Splittd is operated by SliceToMeetYou s.r.o., IČO 17676592, Czech Republic ("we", "us").
2. The service
Splittd is a mobile application that helps you split shared expenses with other people. The first group you create is free. Additional groups require a one-time in-app purchase.
3. Your account and data
Splittd does not require account registration. We identify your data by a randomly generated device identifier. If you uninstall the App or reset the identifier, you will lose access to your data unless you have synced it to another device.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for any expense calculations. Splittd is a tool to help you organize shared expenses, not a financial or legal advisor.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Splittd to:
- Violate any law
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Send spam, malicious content, or unsolicited messages via group chat
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App (except as permitted by law)
- Interfere with the operation of the App or its servers
We reserve the right to suspend or remove access for users who violate these Terms.
5. In-app purchases
Paid features are sold via Google Play Billing or Apple App Store and are subject to their respective terms. Refunds are handled through the platform you purchased from.
All purchases are one-time. Splittd does not have recurring subscriptions.
6. Donations
Donations made via our website are processed by Stripe and are voluntary, non-refundable, and do not grant any additional features or services.
7. Intellectual property
The Splittd name, logo, and app design are the property of SliceToMeetYou s.r.o. The data you enter remains yours.
8. Disclaimer
Splittd is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that data will never be lost. Always keep your own records of important financial agreements.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SliceToMeetYou s.r.o. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Splittd. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for in-app purchases in the past 12 months.
10. Termination
You can stop using Splittd at any time by uninstalling the App and deleting your data via the account deletion page. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes will be resolved by the courts of the Czech Republic, except where consumer protection law in your country grants you the right to sue locally.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App. Continued use of Splittd after changes means you accept the new Terms.
